About Coach Dad
Coach
Dad’s Catcher Protector is a product designed
and patented by Ray Boyd, of Enterprise, Alabama.
Ray coached his son’s and daughter’s ball
teams for several years and spent hours and
hours catching while sitting on a bucket of
balls. As the law of averages dictates, a
bad hop inspired Ray to design the Catcher
Protector. His objectives were safety, comfort
and convenience while being lightweight yet
durable. Since the first prototypes went out
for testing in September of 2007, Coach Dad’s
Catcher Protector has created tremendous excitement
in the baseball/softball industry from coaches,
parents, players and directors at every level
of the game.
Coach
Dad, LLC is a family owned business, established
in 2007.
Customer
Survey
The
following is a survey to the first customers
that bought the Catcher Protector. They are
from all over the US and have no association
with Coach Dad what so ever. There were questionnaires
sent out to the first 6 customers. Five responded
back and their responses are listed in order,
uncut and uncensored. Please notice the results,
especially numbers 6 and 7. Also notice that
previous price of $44.95 is such a good value
in #9. Mass production has enabled us to now
sell the Catcher Protector for the bargain
price of $29.95!

The
reason that I am contacting you is that I
have received the first of the new plastic
model Catcher Protector. They are going to
sell for $29.95 instead of the $44.95 like
what you paid (mass production). I started
to ask you about swapping, but I had no real
idea when I could expect them. Anyway, I would
like to send $15 back to you since you were
so close to buying yours before I received
the new ones. Just let me know your thoughts
and I will get you a check right out.
I hope you are enjoying using your CP!
Thanks,
Ray
